Het Koopmanshuis is the Dutch version of “Die Speicherstadt”. Het Koopmanshuis is a fun and smart game, which is easy to learn and has an innovative bidding system.

Value for your money!
Early in the morning in the harbour. It is quite but the men in the harbour are not asleep. At the horizon the first steamship appears, fully loaded with goods from exotic shores. A good chance to do business. At the yard two traders are making a deal which is confirmed with a hand shake. The Nightshift leaves exhausted to their homes, but the machines will not stop working. The working men stir up the fire…

When the sun rises further and further, the harbour comes to life and ships come to and from. Sweat mixes with dust and salt; this is the place where hard work will have to result in real coins and smart trade. But who is best in using the opportunities which are being presented? And who is the one who stands up when the city has to be protected against the hidious fires?

Unique Bidding System
The unique bidding system of Het Koopmanshuis gives the players the opportunity to outsmart each other in a smart way. The player who uses his influence and money in the best possible way wil be the leader of the most powerful Koopmanshuis and will win with the most victory points at the end of the game!
